Our Review

Made from the highest quality components in Italy, the Reliable 3000IS Professional Ironing System claims to be a revolutionary ironing system that brings, for the first time, “true professional quality” pressurized steam to the market in a compact, ergonomic package.

Equipped with a 3/8 gallon all stainless steel water tank and 12-gauge heavy-duty wiring throughout, the 3000IS is made with the highest quality components.

The stainless steel tank ensures that the product will never rust and comes with a lifetime warranty (as do all Reliable Corporation pressurized steam boiler tanks).

Reliable boiler tank lifetime warranty

The entire product comes with a 1-year warranty.

Measuring 9 x 12 ½ x 6 ½ inches and weighing nearly 15 pounds, the 3000IS heats up and is ready to begin steaming in as little as 8 minutes, though it is recommended that you allow for as much as 15.

The oversized water tank allows for an astounding 2 hours of continuous steaming time, and the device features both a low water indicating light as well as an automatic shut-off to prevent overheating.

The iron itself also comes with a temperature control and steam switch, and the boiler unit has two on-off switches – one for the boiler itself and an additional one for the iron.

Reviews of the 3000IS are overwhelmingly positive.

Customers consistently cite that as a commercial unit, the 3000IS is both less expensive and more durable than similar steam generator boiler/iron combos.

The effectiveness of its “dry” steam production is also widely noted – consumers are extremely pleased with how the product removes wrinkles with powerful jets of super-heated, highly concentrated steam that leave absolutely no traces of moisture on the garments.

The only drawback to the unit that is widely noted is the significant heat-up and cool down time.

It is advised that the user give at least 15 minutes for the device to heat up (though the official specs say 8 minutes), and after use the product routinely takes as long as an hour to cool down completely.

However, the heat emitted from the boiler tank does not pose a burn hazard.

While the 3000IS is a fairly expensive unit, it is still significantly less expensive that other professional grade steamers and delivers top-of-the-line results.

If you need a high quality steamer that is built to last this is the perfect option for you.

However, the device is large, heavy, and a bit cumbersome.

If what you desire is a steamer that is both full-sized and mobile/storeable, you may want to research other products. In most cases, this premium fabric steamer will be the last one you ever need.
